Tails of the City dog salon provides many services for you and your pet. We offer professional grooming in a clean and happy salon where we guarantee your pet is done in 3 hours or less. We do not up charge for basic things like cleaning ears, trimming nails or expressing anal glands* when your pet is groomed. We do offer specialty services such as teeth brushing, hot oil treatments and nail dremmeling for nominal fees. We also have two locations to serve you better. For your convenience we accept all forms of payments including AMEX and Discover.

If you would rather bathe your pet yourself, our Vacaville salon offers Self-Serve dog wash in a private stall with all the amenities of home and the assistance of commercial bathing machines and dryers. Our facilities are updated, clean, and our friendly staff is there to help you every step of the way!

Our salon also offers mobile grooming for the person on the go, who doesn't have the time or the means to taxi your pet around or wait all day while your pet is groomed. It is also ideal for the senior pet or the more sensitive types who tend to stress out in the salon setting. Our vehicles are fully equipped to give your pet a thorough professional grooming in your driveway, your work place, or where ever you may be. Unlike other mobile services are fees are only $10-$20 over salon prices depending on your city, making convience affordable for everyone. We also cover a large territory, servicing cities from Calistoga, to Vallejo, to Rio Vista, to Winters, and everywhere in between.
